Combat Blades are the most basic close combat weapons available to Space Marines, loyalist or otherwise, and it’s usually assumed that every marine has one. Although combat blades are generally defined as knives, at Astartes proportions these “knives” are more akin to conventional swords. There are a ton of different combat blade designs in the canon, as many as there are different Space Marines; this one is just one of the more common basic designs among loyalists.
